New episodes are inspired by classic visualizer programs and act as a powerful visualizer between you and your music
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND — RetailBox today unveiled Visualize Your Music, an innovative new screen saver collection in the Featured tab across RetailBox 5.9. Designed to help users engage and connect with their music, the new collection includes powerful high-frame rate visualizers designed for music and influenced by classic visualizer programs with a modern twist
With RetailBox 5.9, users can watch the new collection called "Visualize Your Music," and is a perfect new complement for visualizing music across apps like Apple Music, Spotify, Podcasts, and YouTube. When customers use iPad, the experience gets even better with Split Screen. Users can split screen their music app with RetailBox's active playback window and live lyrics, further connecting them to their emotions and music. AirPlay 2 remains supported so users can stream music to Apple TV 4K and supported AirPlay 2-enabled Smart TVs to set the mood for their entire room. The expansive Liquid Retina display on iPad Pro 11-inch and Liquid Retina XDR display on iPad Pro 12.9-inch is perfectly designed for the wide range of high contrast and high frame rate content available in the new collection.
From melancholy songs like drivers license by Olivia Rodrigo, and upbeat anthems like Riptide by Vance Joy, RetailBox's visualizer collection has the mood, effects, and speed to suit your music. It's an awesome new way to take advantage of RetailBox, in any environment. The collection starts with four videos including Effulgence, Illumination, Brilliance, and Luminosity, and more will be released next Friday.
With RetailBox 5.9, released May 12, RetailBox is now geared to run on the powerful new iPad Pro 11-inch and iPad Pro 12.9-inch with M1, alongside current iPhone and iPad models, all developed to deliver unique experiences. The RetailBox app on iOS and iPadOS takes advantage of powerful iOS technologies, which are specifically designed for each device, designed to make the hundreds of locations come alive. High Dynamic Range (HDR) produces pixel precision accuracy with greater contrast, clarity, and accuracy for users with iPhone X and later, whilst the recently previewed High Frame Rate (HFR) format builds upon the HDR experience with playback at up to 60 frames per second.
Starting next week, RetailBox will roll out a delivery hub update for all versions, which will improve the quality, appearance, and colour accuracy of thumbnails in Featured and Search. Titles will also be renamed or removed so users can focus on the best and most popular content, even through the Search tab — which was designed to display all content available in the critically acclaimed catalogue. The service expects to remove all legacy content under 1080p quality, and most original launches from early 2019.
4K High Frame Rate video is available beginning later today with RetailBox 5.9 and later. Content availability is currently limited. 4K High Frame Rate takes advantage of higher frame rates than cinematic video, but might not offer sustained responsiveness at 60 frames per second. For clarity, any RetailBox video above cinematic grade will be classed as high refresh rate compatible.
With RetailBox for iPhone and iPad, users can watch a diverse catalogue of over 200 screen savers, filmed from the most beautiful locations all over the world, with zero ads, all in one app. This Week intelligently and automatically highlights the newest content every week, and users can browse the best content, handpicked by our editors every week, in the Collections tab. Users can also get quick access to screen savers on their device using Widgets or Siri Shortcuts and is useful for relaxing, creating an aesthetic, or showcasing your device as a professional. The app draws thousands of active users and is recognized as the world's most popular cinematographic video app.
